My journey

My love of storytelling has been with me since I think. My mom always said I would talk to anyone or anything! It was reinforced through early roles in customer service. Working retail, you meet so many fascinating people with amazing stories. These stories were a way to not just experience their life and journey but to learn. So, this quickly became an important aspect of how I engaged with others.

And I learned that storytelling was important in the business world too. Through many content and communication roles, I learned to tell stories in a way that created a connection between a business and my company. It allowed me to reach and influence individual decision makers.

Talking about myself is something I do not relish, so that is why I chose to write a short personal story to push myself a bit.

So here it goes... Let's start with my logo. It is a very interesting and challenging process to design a logo for your yourself. How do you create something memorable that accurately signals what you represent? Tough! So, I ended up with a family crest style image with pegasi.

Why pegasi? Well, I have always had a long-term obsession with horses, unicorns and pegasi. To me, they represent integrity, strength and freedom. And of course, they are wicked cool. And perhaps interestingly, sea horses are on my family crest on my mom's side.

I have associated with horses and I can tell you that horses never do anything they don't want to - integrity. When they do act, it is all out with everything they have - strength. They also tend to ward pack behavior and so training them to run to win is really special. And these are traits I try to bring to my career.
